Mend Hotpoint WF210P Washing Machine Fault Appliance

Hotpoint WF210P fault?

Initial fault was door light flashing. I cleared a restriction from the filter but now when i switch on you can hear the inlet selenoid operate for a second only then nothing. the wash light stays on but nothing works.
