TURN OFF ALL POWER TO THE MACHINE.
Step 1 - Remove the door so you have more room there are two screws attached to the machine once you have taken them off lift the door up and then out.
Step 2 - Located on the outer rim of the seal there is a small metal ring with a spring attached to it, if you do not intend to keep the seal you can prise this off with a screwdriver by simply slipping this over the seal. A little force is required.
Step 3 - You should now be able to remove the seal from the outer part of the machine by pealing it off.
Step 4 - Fold the seal inside the washing machine so you can clearly see the panel and it is out of the way.
Step 5 - You now need to remove three screws to remove the front panel and the powder draw. The powder draw slides out and you can see the latch it catches on at the top in the middle. The screws to remove are located under the powder draw on the right hand side and one in each of the bottom corners underneatch the plastic plate close to the floor. You should now be able to pull the front down and off. If it is catching in anyway as you should of folded the seal into the machine you shoule be able to see what its catching on. Careful when reoving the panel as the are some electrics attched to the door lock these can be simply unplugged.
Step 6 - Located on the seal on the inside you should be able to feel a large spring holding the seal inplace, in the same fashion as you removed the first spring remove this spring also.
Step 7- Once you have completed all the above steps the seal should now be free to remove.
Step 8 - Place the new seal in the machine ensuring the small holes in the seal are located at the bottom to allow the water to drain.
Step 9 - Replace the inner spring, this can be difficult and it may be easier if someone could help you to hold this , however i did manage this on my own after a few attempts.
Step 10 - Replace the front door panel ensuring you clip the top back in properly, again you can fold the seal into the machine so you can clearly see the panel is fitted correctly. Then replace the 3 screws and slot the powder tray back.
Step 11 - Reach inside and connect the electrics to the door lock you removed earlier.
Step 12 -Fold the seal out of the machine and clip if back over the front panel you have just fixed in place.
Step 13 - Place the metal ring back over the seal, again this can be tricky with one a person and some strength is required to stretch the spring over the seal.
Step 14 - Attach door back on.
Step 15 - Check it works.
