Canon Ixus 750 won't take photos?

My Canon Ixus 750 wont power up to take photos, but will allow me to view all my pictures fine.
The lens comes out some of the way by not all.
I have replaced the battery and memory card but still won't work.
Has anyone had any similar problems and what did you do about it?
