walbro diaphram position?

I have a ryobi 410r cultivator I replaced the gas lines,filter, and cleaned carberator. Now it will idle but dies out when throttle is engaged with gas vapors coming out of carb. Set the mixture screw ar 1 1/2 turns out. Adjusting mixtures from there and can't get throttle to work. any suggestions?
