Most probably the flyback transformer is shorted inside. I have just fixed one with the same symptoms, only problem is I now have an extra high voltage lead called "2" from the new transformer which has nowhere to go. Can anyone add to this? The transformer no 30037592 is supplied by SEME as 30037593. I fitted it anyway and it works fine, just the HV loose cannon to sort!
