Is it worth trying to fix a broken mixer tap?

Hi all,

My shower mixer tap has broken. The lever will not budge upwards, meaning no water comes out of the showerhead. The mixer unit itself is very difficult to get to with the bath being pretty much completely tiled in (thanks for nothing previous occupant).

What would you guys suggest? Should I just replace the whole thing or is there anything brighter I can try?
