how can i adjust the tappets on my 1993 ford sierra 1.8lx?

There is no adjustment on a 1.8 CVH engine. The tappets operate hydraulically. If there is a loud tapping noise, it is very easy to replace the tappets. Buy a new set from BMS and instructions are supplied with the tappets. While you are doing the repair, remember to keep all parts spotlessly clean.
