a/c, fan and heater has stopped working. i can live without the a/c as it probably needs re gassing anyway. but does that have anything to do with the heater and fan not working. i've changed the fuse but still no joy. on the temp window it goes onto service. what's that all about. cheers
check the wires on the fan below dashboard they usualy get burned with age or humiditi.

I,ve got similar problem - fan heater switch only works on setting 4 (if you keep trying). Looks like dashboard has to come out to get at switch! Some one told me that it is not the switch but the "solenoids" which I cannot find. I cannot find any reference in Haines manual either.

The word service means the computer has picked up an electrical fault.
You need to have the diagnostic codes read out to see what the problem is.
