Sometimes food debris like lemon pips enter the outlet and stop the impeller of the drain pump. On many machines you can get to it from the inside by undoing just one Torx screw.
Remove the botton tray and all the filter stuff and bail out the water. At the lowest point of the interior sump they may be just one screw - undo it and lift off the cover of the impeller. If you find crud then that's probably the cause - remove it with tweezers etc.
The impeller should rotate freely with a bit of magnetic resistance.
