Would Wire in drum cause error code e15 on my hotpoint wdm73??

My Hotpoint WDM73 Washer Dryer kicked up an error code of E15 check outlet pipe.

Ive checked outlet pipe and was all clear.

Checked pump and was clear and working fine on a rise spin cycle untill error code stops machine after 10mins or so.

Ive since replaced the heater (very difficult to get old one out!!!) and the machine worked fine for about 8 washes and then stopped with error code E15 again!

So i checked pipe again and looked inside drum, and there i could see a wire. Had to take heater out again to get to wire and managed to get it out. It turns out its a wire out of g/f Bra!!!

So...im due to test machine again tonight but my question is....would this wire (which was inside drum by the heater element), cause this error code???

If not, what else could my problem be??
