Name the camera! Sounds a serious fault but what you can try is a complet camera re-set to default settings. This facility should be in settings or one of the camera menu's the other try is remove the battery leaving it out for a few hours see if that brings it all back in line. Other than that I fear it's a camer repair shop but priice up repair cost against a new camera pruchase. You can get good deals on 'Re-furbished'/secondhand ones.
