Mend Worcester Boiler Heating Pressure

the boiler has to be swicth on or off when we use a filling key ?

When I use a fill in key in a worcester bolier to put the pressure at zero bar to 1.5 bar, shall I have the boiler switch on or swicth off?

Always best to switch off, so that the circulating pump does not interfere with the pressure reading
