Mend Navman Ideas S Wrong

Any ideas what's wrong?

Not having the first idea about technical stuff I wonder if anyone can tell what is wrong with my sat nav.
I have a basic Navman and it was left switched on after the last use (for a week) and will not now charge when plugged in.
Is there anything I should be doing (apart from buying a new one)
