Problem with Miele Novotronic W864 drain pipe?

After pulling out the draining pipe hose and plastic pipe on our Miele Novotronic W864 which is contained within the bottom draining compartment and clipping back in and shutting the compartment door water still flows from the pipe when the washing machine is turned on.
