how do i remove the crown on a relic pocket watch?

Inside the watch by the stem of the crown (where it fits into the works) there will be a small, pin head sized "button". Get a pin and a little wd40, spray the pin until you can get a drop in (this step may not be nessesary). Gently, but firmly press the button and carefully work the crown out. Repeat in reverse to replace. Remember to be gentle, your not working on an engine.
