sky plus planner recordings have vanished?

Sky plus seems to have deleted all stored recordings on the hard disk of its own accord. Have these been lost OR can they be recovered ?

sounds like a hard disk failure to me and you have lost them full stop - ring sky and get a service call - try and avoid the £65 charge if you can. you will need your box replacing if not now certainly in the future cos it will happen again
