Mend Husqvarna yth2148 Mower Battery Fuel

My Husqvarna yth2148 riding mower will not start ?

I put a new battery on it this year. It seems to be getting gas to the fuel pump, but wont start without spraying gas in the carb. Must be somthing I'm missing??

If it runs by spraying gas in the carb then I'd replace the fuel pump. They're not much and they don't cost much. Get a new fuel filter while you're at it. I like the glass ones. Allows me to monitor the junk in the filter at any time.
