Hi, I replaced the motor and brushes. The motor spins for 1 second and then indicates C9 again on LED display. I performed reset many times, but then C9 reappears. Any clues? MY thoughts now are that since the motor does initially spin, the motor controller PCB is faulty? Any suggestions welcome.

As above but before releasing the buttons, click the selector knob clockwise one click after the "off" position (whilst still holding those buttons!). The door will then unlock and the system will reset.
Warning to get the motor brushes changed.

I had a 74620 with error C9. Replaced the brushes (they seemed worn) and then pressed start button first then turned program selector to the left and the C9 disappeared and the normal programs appeared. I left it on spin and let that complete (I was so excited that it was working I didn't want to touch anything and ruin it) Very easy to change brushes and only cost £20 for parts ( may be able to buy cheaper on an internet site) Hope this helps.
