Mend Mercedes Flash Central Locking

How do I fix my indicators on my 1999 Mercedes SLK 230K?

My indicators light up but do not flash, except when I use the central locking function. Why is this and how can it be fixed? It is a Mercedes 230K SLK 1999.

first find the flasher unit, turn on indicators put hand on top of the unit you should feel it clicking as the contacts make and break if this is not happening the unit's faulty change the flasher unit. I thing alarm incorporates the hazard flasher unit to flash all 4 lights this is a different flasher unit due to the higher currant demand
