Panasonic Quintrix?

I have now retuned the TV and the problem has been solved. The missing word that did not appear in my question above, although typed by me, but was inexplicably left out, was the crucial word, "short". It should, of course - logically - have said "re-tune" instead... Ah well, there seems to be an equally inexplicable need for Bill Gates' type of gobbledygook language in all branches of household and other home electronic goods.
