canon 300d?

Has anyone a detailed procedure for dismantling a Canon 300D DSLR and replacing a fuse? The camera is dead and I assume that it's one of the fuses gone.
I shall give it the kiss of life with my hammer if I don't hear from someone.

IMHO I'd think it's more likely to be the battery, try your friendly local camera shop n they should have a replacement
