techwood twp4210,tv?

I have a black band about 3cms wide down the centre of the screen.It comes and goes.Is it fixable?

Hi I had this problem its the main power board in the screen, reconditioned ones are about £100 on ebay and are fairly straight forward to fit. If you want to sell the set I would be prepared to buy it as my mother is looking for a bigger TV and I should get this going with a new power board.
