fix a lawnmower?

Flymo 350,1 yr old. Was working fine till one day got stuck and makes a noise. i assume one of the wooden bits scattered around the plants got stuk in some where? what shall ido? I opened the blades and looked at the belt they move fine but not working when switched on. please help!
