Drag the dryer well away from the wall, disconnecting electric and exhaust.
Remainder of this procedure is performed with you standing in front of, and facing, the machine.
Tip the machine back (lift front), exposing the bottom. Unscrew two phillips head screws, found underneath the machine, that hold the front panel to the base of the dryer. Untip the dryer. Pull (toward you) the bottom of the front panel free of the base, then pull it down, free of the dryer. Disconnect two electric wires to the door-open switch; place the front panel aside. Unscrew two 7/16" hex-head screws, exposed when the front panel is removed, holding the top panel to the sides. Slide the top panel back a bit, lift the back to free the lip, then slide the top panel forward, resting it on the dryer drum. The top panel is tethered to the dryer by a bunch of electric wires that you should protect from damage.
