no power to my control panel on cross trainer e900 ellipticals horizon ?

my cross trainer has power coming to it from plug ,i turned control panel on it stayed on few mins then went off totally yet power switch still lights up at base of trainer. its a brand new machine bought as present but we have no trace of warranty
