Mend Vauxhall Zafira Battery Engine Car

my Zaferia lose's power?

the light in middle of oil and battery light looks like an engine i think?? is on and my car is stuck in limp home mode i have an 03 plate 1.6 petrol , when i drove it home the whole car shuddered when i applied power to accelirator so had to limp home at about 15/20 miles an hour can anyone help with what this could be ?
