Mend Iveco 35S12 Diesel Turbo

How can I get my Iveco 35S12 2.8 turbo diesel 51 plate running better ?

When my iveco van goes on over run the injector light flashes and will not rev about 1500 until you depress clutch and return to tick over then ignitor light goes out and engine resumes normal operation - any ideas what is wrong with it and how I can fix it. Very many thanks
