Mend Renault Scenic Loss Light

loss of power and light comes on renault scenic 2001?

our car has dramatic loss of power at speeds over 30mph, whilst this happens it also struggles to change gear (automatic).theres a spluttering effect and a orange light (like a teapot with stop in it) that comes on.
