toilet keeps leaking water after flush?

when i flush the armitage shanks toilet ,the system fills right up to the float then it keeps leaking water in to the toilet and is constantly trying to flush

is your toilet a dual flush if it is look inside and you will see that the water level is too high and is pouring down the overflow in the center just adjust the float level it will either be a little plastic nut & bolt on the float arm or the float its self will have a thread on the back of it just turn the whole float
