How can I keep the heating turned off whilst heating the water?

Is there a way that you can turn off the heating and only heat the water?

I have a 'mynute he' home heating system.

turn the room thermostat down.make sure your timer is set to the hot water possition only.
if the problem still persists i would be looking at the motorised valve to see if it is passing to heating
