Mend Belling 633 Cooker Heat Fault

wha is wrong with my belling hob model 633 format?

belling format 633
when you turn the control for the ring the lamp stays at full heat and you can not turn it down!whether it is on no.6 or no.1
two rings are now behaving like this.
seems like a resistor problem
Advice please.What parts I need to correct this.
