Citroen C3 cutting out when it rains?

Citroen C3 (petrol ), 04 plate loses power and stalls only when it rains, with engine management light coming on, when car dries out after a few days, everything ok - checked for leaks onto injectors no signs of water anywhere, even checked and sealed washer jets

Is water getting into the air filter housing and soaking the filter? Happens with 206's if the air filter housing isn't closed properly after changing the filter.
