Mend Aquarius WT540 Drum Causing Holes

One of the blue arms has come off the drum?

One of the blue arms attached to the inside of the drum has come off, it can be reattached but comes off again during a wash causing holes in clothes. Is it essential that this is replaced (there are 3 more still attached) or can i still do i wash if i take it out? I have an Aquarius WT540
