How can i fix my ps3?

My ps3 turns on but no icons come on the tv, wen i put a game in i hear it load and i see the disc loadin icon comes on in the top corner but it still stays on the green start up screen please please help???

i need help fixing my ps3 yes i did unplug it and i also held the power button for the three beeps and the screen came on but when i press the ps button on the controller nothing happened and the screen went fuzzy after 10 second it came on what could wrong? please help

happened to me try...

pulling the power cable out of the back for a few minutes as the system still draws power to maintain settings when it is "turned off".

plug back in.

if this does not work hold down the power button for 10 sec and hear 3 beeps.
