Mend Ford Focus 1.8 Engine Car

After washing down the engine, my car keeps stalling?

Hello,
I have a "W" Ford Focus 1.8. Two days ago, I needed to wash down the engine using a hose. It was running ok till then, now its started to run very rough, so I dried the plugs thinking it was that. It hasn't stopped the problem, and it is now stalling and still running rough.
Any ideas?
