power planer died?

my bosch power planer died today. Worked fine one min. and the next nothing. No smoke, no smell no planing! Anyone with an idea of problem, please send me an email. I'm fairly good at fixing things, and could replace brushes, but when I took them out, they looked fine. not any hesitation or hickups prior. I'm hoping its not the armature, but think it might be something else. Anyone with details on planer or motors that just die, is welcome to email me at dscarter1 at aol for help.
