change the whole lights with left hand drive versions. no way other than stick on defledtors to adjust.

Headlight beams are not flat beams. In the UK the left part of the beam actually has a part that shines upwards so you can still read road signs. Merely angling to the right for Europe just shines this part of the beam at oncoming traffic.Hence the need to blank off part of the light.

You don't adjust the headlamps - what you do is to cover the area of the lamp glass with black tape that prevents the dipped beam from pointing to the left. Car accessory shops or even a Ford dealer should be able to provide you with the necessary info.
