Mend Kenmore 16765690 Dishwasher Leak Repair

Kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwaser, Model 16765690?

We are in the process of purchasing a 1986 home with a Kenmore Ultra Wash dishwasher, model no. 16765690. Water leaks on the floor and the home inspector said the seal is not working. Can you tell me if it is worth fixing the seal or should we replace the dishwasher? We don't know how old it is and don't know if parts are still available.

We are suffering through the same problem. Has been happening for 2 years now and getting worse and worse. We have to put a cake pan underneath the door and empty it out at least 3 times per cycle. Drag. We've been told that parts are not available. If you find any, please let us know.
