Mend Citadel X31-MK11 Panel Alarm Replacing

Citadel X31-MK11?

I have had a fault on the control panel of my alarm system, i am in the process of replacing it with the above panel but when i switch on the panel i have two problems:- the internal siren sounds but not the external, and secondaly the tamper light comes on and will not switch off, do i need to alter anything on the existing circuit?
