Mend Nissan P1114 1999 Car Rev

how do I repair my nissan primera?

I have a 1999 nissan primera, the car starts but will not rev, have been told the diagnostic test had came back with fault code of P0430 cam position sensor, I have replaced the cam sensor (located within the distributor) and has made no difference, have since looked up the internet, and seemingly fault code P0430 refers to catalyst system efficiency below threshold (bank 2), could anyone help with this irritating problem? Regards
