Thompson DT16300 again - ?

Same as every one else - red light on - sometimes sequence of red and green. Something wrong with the latest level of software downloaded without my knowledge - it wiped out my favourites.

pull power cable from box, wait 20 seconds,put power cable back in whilst repeatedly pressing stand by/power on button.release as soon as you see light flash on box immediately press arrow buttons on box in this sequence Up, Down, Left, Right .
After 60 seconds solid red light should appear. Off you go.
Top Up TV help centre advised this and it works.
