How to fix my mondeo 1996 the ignition light is flashing any ideas?

dear carolyou dont mentoin if you are having trouble with starting or your battery because if you are then the fanbelt could be slipping or try the connections on the battery are tight and clean also check the connections on the statermotor are clean then if problem persists then check the alternator connections if it still does it take to garage to have them check the charging system good luck
