Have you found a solution yet? I'm in exactly the same situ. I was bought the watch from Coopers of Stortford as a 40th wedding present in 2007 but had to return it when the battery ran out, was replaced and still would not reset. The same thing happened to a replacement and this time I gave it to 2 really clever techo mates who just could not fathom it!
I contacted Coopers who have now washed their hands of it and refuse a third replacement. The Inset functions are all correct but the anologue is always wrong. I eventually gave in and bought a £5 cheapy- which looks just like a Tag Heur- which I reset by pulling out the winder and twisting it- you know just
like the ol' days. So sadly the Radio-controlled one has now been consigned to the depths of a drawer alongside all the carcases of timepieces either awaiting repair or kept for sentimental reasons.
