part fell out of kenmore 80 series?

A 2" copper cotterpin-like piece fell out of my Kenmore 80 series washer during a move. Pointy end has a hole; other end is like a nailhead. One side of is flat; rest is curved. What is this, where does it go, how can I put it back?

What you have is a shipping pen, prop up your washer and underneath it you will see three clear plastic cups each one should have a pen in it, if not don't worry it does not affect the washer at all.
