Mend Baxi Solo Boiler Heating Ignition

Burner light not coming on. ?

I have a Baki solo boiler and the burner light is not coming on, it just keeps licking and not able to get the heating or water on. whats wrong and any idea on the cost.

Baxi Baxi Solo Heating, Home Heating Systems Boiler Heating Ignition

sounds like the gas valve in the boiler has gone faulty,if you have an electrical multi meter test the voltage at the terminals on the gas valve when you can hear the boiler clicking.if voltage is there you need a new gas valve.if so contact a gas safe registered engineer who will be able to replace it for you.
