John, where does one get a steel spanner for a Flymo?
My plastic one is still giving good reliable service since 10th April 1992. Providing it doesn't slip on the head all that's needed is for someone wearing stout gardening gloves to grasp the blade firmly while a strong arm turns the spanner anticlockwise - if that doesn't work then either a firm tap with a hammer or some form of handle extension for more leverage should do the trick.
