how can i fix my karcher pressure washer?

Hi .The whole body of my pressure washer is pulsating when i take my finger off the trigger. All water inlets have been checked, filter cleaned there does seem to be a lack of pressure also .

the 301 is a plastic pump,

the spill valve is behind the chemical nipple

you will need to replace the spill valve housing and the chemical nipple

Hi Paul, Thanks for taking the trouble to answer my problem but the only way i can find out the model number is by a small "sticker" on the base which says 301B i trust this to be the M.N but i can only add that my model has the detergent tube hanging from the body would i be able to buy spare parts from you if needed please.Thank You once again

Hi,
There is normally two things that can cause this problem (depending on model no). There is a spill valve (http://www.candmdomesticappliances.co.uk/product.php/1970/483/spill-valve-to-fit-karcher-jet-pressure-washers) this sometimes gets stuck and the spring loaded mechanism dosen't work correctly. The other thing that can cause this problem is inside the black plastic outlet elbow there is a small red & grey coloured bottle shaped piece, If this dosen't hold the pressure it can make the body keeps pulsating.
