Clearing "Update error: - 0053 9804" on Motorola phone?

I normally use my mobile in the UK using the Orange network, but last week went to the Netherlands and sent a couple of texts home (successfully) Now back in the UK, I keep receiving "Update error: - 0053 9804" in my inbox. It's not causing any problems, but is just rather irritating. Any idea how to stop it happening?

I recieved this message when abroad in Lanzarote last November and in Rhodes just a week ago. First of all when I switched my Orange phone on a message came up which said that there wasn't any space left for messages when I knew there was. (I received a message from Orange telling me what my balance was with pay as you go.) Then when I switched my phone on again the text message "Updade Error -0053 9804". It seemed to clear itself when I received another text message from a friend.

You need to contact your mobile phone carrier. This error usually occurs when you return from a trip abroad and your mobile phone fails to revert its settings back to your native country. Your mobile phone company will send you a SIM update and the problem will be fixed.
