sky HD remote with magic eye only changes channels on some tv's?

I have Magic eye system throughout my house, my sky remotes operate all sky+ services on some tv's but will not function on others. One it doesnt work on is a philips and i have tried programe code 0081 and it operates volume etc but not the SKY+ channels.
