how can i stop the throttle body on my vectra from needing cleaning out?
I have a 2000 vectra 1.8 16v auto every three months it starts to cut out when the engine is idling i take it to garage they clean the throttle body out and tha problem is sorted straight away but then guaranteed three months down the line i get the same problem.It seems like they are only curing the symptoms not the problem!help please
Its a simple repair and could proably do it yourself........might try using a fuel conditioner might help .....on cadillacs it happened alot but when it got bad the gas pedal would stick ect ...never relly caused a runabilty problem ........
